Therapeutic Movement & Mobility with Allison
Address chronic pain, fatigue and stuck stress in your body. Learn soft-tissue, self-massage techniques to restore fluid flow in fascia and activate the Vagus nerve. This class will offer mindful movement, stretching, breath work and myofascial release techniques utilizing balls and soft foam rollers to improve mobility, stability, and recovery. This class will improve your body’s ability to restore sensorimotor control, reduce muscle soreness, stress, balance the sympathetic/parasympathetic nervous system, and increase fluid flow in fascia. Aromatherapy for emotional and spiritual wellness will be included as a sensory input for the limbic system, which controls your heart rate, blood pressure, breathing, memory, stress levels and hormone balance.

Our guide, Casey, is a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine. She received her training in Honolulu, HI., where she studied under Master and lineage disciple, Dr. Chang Y Hsiang of the World Medicine Institute. In addition to running her private practice in Ridgefield, Casey loves to hold space for healing outside of the treatment room. She is passionate about helping people overcome pain, and sharing her connection to the Taoist Healing Arts.
