What is Mindset Training & Sports Performance?

A positive mindset is everything and it take a lot of discipline. The human brain has 60,000 to 80,000 thoughts per day, make them positive! At Inspire Train Fit the mind-body connection is utilized throughout every training session. We use visualization techniques, positive affirmations and positive reinforcement techniques to help clients keep a positive mindset and to enhance performance.

We offer focused training, tailored coaching and support for athletes gearing up for the upcoming sports season. Our Strength and Conditioning Program is focused on progressively building muscle strength, increasing endurance and instilling a positive mindset. Our methods includes plyometrics, explosive drills, and dynamic strength training techniques and mindset training.

 

What is Neuroplasticity?

Neuroplasticity is the brain’s ability to reorganize itself by forming new neural connections throughout life. New neurons are being formed in the brain based on patterns and repetition on thought, action, and from sensory input. Neuroplasticity allows the neurons (nerve cells) in the brain to compensate for injury and disease and to adjust their activities in response to new situations or to changes in their environment.

The brain continually reorganizes itself by forming new neural connections in response to new information, sensory stimulation, development and the environment.

Strength training should not be isolated to single muscles, but more so teach the nervous system how to coordinate motor output through multiple joint/muscles to enable better control. It’s about giving the brain the necessary information in each position so it feels safe to grant you strength.

When we add external load to movement we add more stimulus to strengthen the neurological pathways that deliver information from that body part to the brain. The information gives our brain the knowledge of what’s going on and if we do it repeatedly it becomes part of the blueprint that is stored in our cerebellum to enable us to carry out movement more smoothly in the future. This pattern we have created through training enables more efficiency allowing our brain to make faster predictions about safety of movement when we engage in a similar position or movement.

What is involved with Mindset Training?

We offer athletes recovery and healing modalities including PNF stretching, Fascial stretching (FST), Myofasical Release, SMR technique, fascial sheering/flossing, cupping therapy, kinesio taping, deep breathing techniques, aromatherapy, mindset training, visualization techniques, and BEMER Vascular Therapy.

What are the payment and cancellation policies?

Mindset Training & Sports Performance sessions are available at different times and price points for your convenience. Payment is due in full on your first training session.
Sessions/packages expire one year after purchase date. Payment can be made in either CashCheck, or Credit Card. We are fully Insured and licensed.

Please honor our schedule by giving 24-hour advance notice of cancellation. If not, we reserve the right to redeem the paid session.
