Fitness Classes

Allison Stolar has been a trusted expert in the health and wellness industry for over 20 years. Allison has extensive knowledge of the health and wellness industry working as a manager, educator, instructor, trainer and presenter. She is nationally recognized in the fitness industry as a consultant, program developer, exercise facilitator and health fitness instructor. Her expertise in developing and teaching exercise programs for aerobics instructors and personal trainers has been recognized by national fitness organizations such as AFAA, ACSM, and NASM.

Allison is available to guest instructor and teach master fitness classes within the US. Classes can be selected from the descriptions below.

 

Ab Blast! Get ready for a class that has been requested for some time! Abs Blast will leave you wanting more after each class. Let this class sculpt your mid-section, and wake up muscles that are important for everyday movements. You’ll love this class!

Absolute Core

Challenge your abdominals like no other workout ever before! Absolute Core is a highly effective workout that targets the abdominal and back muscles using the stability ball and specific exercises which will increase abdominal strength and torso stability.

Body Sculpting / Total Body Conditioning

This workout features basic strength training exercises using dumbbells and body bars. Proper form and core strength will be emphasized to improve overall muscular strength, posture, alignment and body awareness.

 

Boot Camp

Drop and give me 10! This high intensity interval training class incorporates drills, sports agilities and strength training with dumbbells and kettlebells. This class is designed to improve strength, power and endurance.

 

Cardio Blast

A high intensity cardiovascular workout that includes moves that will train your heart to the beat.

 

Core Training / Bosu Balance

Get on the Ball!! This is a fun and intense workout utilizing the physioball to sculpt your entire torso. This class will focus on core strength, balance, and coordination.  Other balance training modalities may also be utilized including the Bosu and balance disks.

 

Foam Rolling

This class includes lots of deep tissue rolling and myofascial release techniques. By performing self-myofascial release techniques on a simple foam roller, you can improve flexibility, reduce muscle stiffness, alleviate pain, restore motion and improve circulation.

 

Hatha Yoga

Hatha yoga is a dynamic practice that includes using the breath to access the subtle energy flow within the body. Hatha yoga involves mindful, intentional action, balancing strength, stability and flexibility in a process that affects all the systems of the body and mind.

 

HIIT

A metabolic conditioning workout that blends strength and cardio moves that burn mega calories with high intensity intervals.

 

Kettlebells

This kettlebell class consists of whole-body movement exercises that deliver cardio, strength, and flexibility benefits in a short amount of time and can be beneficial for anyone no matter the level of fitness. Kettlebells come in a range of off-centered weights and a workout includes different movements such as the deadlift, swing, clean and press, and snatch. Each of these movements are multi-joint and multi-muscle exercises that build strength, improve flexibility and burn fat and calories.

 

Lift

This strength training based workout combines traditional strength training moves with the hottest functional moves to get your smoked. This class is designed to build strength and muscular definition.

 

Mat Pilates

This workout is derived from the principles of strength and flexibility training. Each exercise sequence addresses alignment, muscle strength, endurance and spine stabilization. Results from this training include improved posture, stronger abdominal and back muscles, and overall improved appearance and body awareness.

 

Medicine Ball

A full body workout, strengthening the shoulders, back, arms and legs as well as improving core strength and joint integrity. This workout will utilize sports specific training drills and explosive motion exercises such as lifting, throwing, and catching the ball. This class will improve your eye-hand coordination and body mechanics.

 

Spin

An indoor cycling class that you will be coached through a series of flats, hills, jumps, sprints and climbs to your favorite music. This class will improve your cardiovascular fitness as well as strengthen your legs and gluteal muscles.

 

Stretching for Flexibility & Stress Reduction

Flexibility is the ability to move muscles and joints through their full ranges of motion.  This class will include breathing exercises, body postures, yoga poses and static stretching that will give you balance, relaxation, and relieve muscle tension.

 

Tabata

A courageous, daring, and dynamic conditioning experience; 20-30sec. bouts of high intensity training followed by 10 sec. of rest. A series of 4 min. intervals will increase athletic performance, boost VO2 Max and decrease body fat. The Tabata protocol is proven to physiologically transform your body.

 

Total Body Circuit

Circuit training is an excellent boredom buster! Whether you’re cycling, running steps, jumping rope, doing squats, planks, or conditioning on the stability ball – your mind won’t have time to wander, and your body will turn into a calorie burning machine!

 

TRX Suspension

A total body workout using the TRX Suspension trainer to improve mobility, strength, power, endurance and core strength.

 

TRX RIP Training

The Rip trainer consists of a lever bar and resistance cord that allows you to engage in a variety of movements that build core strength, explosive power, and flexibility. The TRX Rip Trainer strengthens core muscles with exercises focused on rotational power creating the necessary foundation for peak performance.

 

Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa yoga is a flowing practice of yoga poses that emphasizes breathing techniques that are used as you move through each pose. This class includes breathing exercises combined with poses and stretches that promote health in the mind and body. This class ends with a short meditation to nourish the mind and the body.
